Private Label Trust services are available through an affiliate of the New York Private Bank and Trust. We can provide institutional clients such as community banks, law firms, registered investment advisors and multi family offices the ability to offer trust services to their clients by way of outsourcing the administration, overhead costs and fiduciary liability while keeping the continuity of their brand name.

We offer institutions the ability to establish a privately labeled trust company as a Delaware, LLC, in their name, while we:

  • Perform all fiduciary administrative functions
  • Manage all regulatory matters
  • Assume fiduciary administration risk

Turn-Key Capability

Building a trust company organically from the ground up requires significant financial and human resources and can take years to become profitable. By using New York Private Bank & Trust's Private Label Trust services, institutions without trust powers can have their trust company up and running with little or no capital outlay and no additional infrastructure. By converting their wealthy family relationships into trusts relationships, they can generate revenue at a fraction of the cost of an organically grown trust company.

Branding

All statements and client communications, including the name of the entity, is privately labeled with your institutional branding. More importantly, the documents creating the fiduciary relationship carry your institutional branding and not that of a sub-agent.

Our affiliate, the New York Private Trust Company, offers a full range of trust and estate administration services on a private label basis including the administration of trusts and estates, custody of fiduciary assets, preparation and filing of tax returns, complete recordkeeping, fiduciary oversight and compliance with regulatory agencies. Depending on your particular capabilities, we can delegate the investment function to your institution.
